Education is a dynamic discipline and has been evolving with changing times. Education is the touchstone of the Civilization and culture of a Country and is the key to solve all problems - political, social, personal, professional, economic, environmental- the list is endless. Modern education is child-centered and it is an authentic education. Most of the schools in India do not have the necessary space, infrastructure, finance and gadgets suitable for 21st century teaching and learning. As a result the teachers are unable to cope up with the same level of teaching like their counterpart.
I want my school to be a 21st century school. The skills that students require in 21st century are not new. Today these skills are a necessity and should be made universal and affordable to everyone.
21st century education is not about technology or skills for the Global economy. We need to bear in mind the fact that students we teach today are completely different from the students of 20th century.
My core belief is to "Be Human". We are all adaptable,we make mistakes but we can with hard work and inspiration bounce back from everything. Our leadership strategy is pretty straight forward. I believe collaboration is the key. Listen, Listen and listen. Our mission is to prepare and equip students to tackle the challenges of living in the modern world. Our teaching is there fore not focused solely on learning the academic content but also mastering the life skills such as developing team spirit, creative thinking etc for life long learning. My inner belief is that one must wake with the faith that whatever happens is according to God's will and that love works miracles. Couple this with a strong sense of fair play, a measure of creativity, a dash of humor,a touch of humility and a passion for one's subject and you have a teacher who can change the world.
I have put into practice the concept of sharing through charity and donation drives and programs. We engage students in such activities to imbibe in them values of empathy and accountability. We tried to do the things out side which are charted for the students to be better individuals and face the realities of life. I have taken forward steps to engage students more with nature through our various vigorous sports programmes like Basket ball, Table tennis, Badminton, Skating. Athletics for which our school teams have qualified for to the National level.
Assemblies which are theme based conducted class once every week are a new and fun way of inculcating the values and social awareness in the students. We want us to be the best in the

My dream is to have an education system where children learn by experiencing and not by rote learning, they should be able to choose the subjects of their interest after their early school years.
But God is faithful. I saw miracle after miracle take place as he sent me angels who became my strongest allies and friends. The final outcome was that I was able to weather the storm and today I stand stronger, wiser and more humbled before a 'God who was himself, the wisest teacher to ever walk' the earth. The most unexpected thing I learnt along the way is that to be an effective leader you need to learn to stay calm and composed at all times.
